Remember when I posted about this lamp?

And showed you the replacement shade I picked up for it at ReStore?

Then left you with a cliff hanger and only showed you this much?
Well, here’s a little glimpse at how this revitalized lamp looks when it’s placed with a few friends.

Abstract Painting by Sea to Canvas
Not so bad for a $2.00 shade, right?

Do you recognize a few pieces in the mix?
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!

That lamp is DIVINE!!!! What a great find, Sheila 🙂
I love how your lamp turned out – and the painting behind – it all works together so well!
Thank you, Heather! The painting behind it was actually done by my mother-in-law, and in tomorrow’s post the bright colours will all come together! 😉
sure do – I mean a few item in the mix!
Beautiful vignette! Love, love the happy picture! And the lap is perfect!! Great job my friend!!
That lamp and the photo it is in looks like it should be a cover shot for a decorating book. You are so talented Sheila!
Wow, thank you so much, Linda! That is a huge compliment!!!
Love this!! Looks like a lamp you’d find at Restoration Hardware 😉
Victoria
I love Restoration Hardware, so your comment makes me smile!
Love the “refresh” on the lamp….really like the painting you have married it with 🙂 connection to the artist by chance?
Thank you so much, Leigh! We love this little lamp, but sadly have to return it to its owner in a week. It’s part of the redesign I did for the family, so it and the desk are an item 😉 And you are so right! The painting was done by Clemens’ mom!
That lamp is a classic – I love it. And looks great on the desk.
This is gorgeous! I want one – that’s the beauty and heartbreak of seeing these one of a kind DIYs.
I know exactly what you mean, and with this DIY I have to pass it back to its owner! I’d love to be able to call it mine, but no this time 🙁
I LOVE that little lamp! I noticed it immediately in your pictures of the desk redo and wondered where you got it, and then I continued reading and discovered that you did a makeover on it and added a totally different shade! How awesome! It really turned out amazingly cute and looks SO expensive. Great job!
Thank you so much, Stephanie! This weekend is the weekend I take the lamp back to its owner… I can’t wait to see what she thinks 🙂
