How much fun is this?
When I was searching cyber-land for some cool jewellery storage ideas, this classic image popped up…
Who doesn’t love a little Audrey for inspiration?
Wouldn’t this project be fun to do?
What a great way to re-purpose a jewellery armoire. And who better to showcase on it than the lady that said…
Do you think she’s 40 here? I wonder what she thought about pearls at that age!
And just look at the glam of this table that’s been re-purposed here…
Pretty fabulous isn’t it? Especially the knobs that will sparkle like the chandelier!
Or how about this dresser painted in turquoise blue…
Does it make you think ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ too?
Did you know you can buy this famous image in a decal? And in a range of sizes? Just Google ‘Audrey Hepburn Decals’ and you will find a number of sources to choose from. In fact you can find many image options. You’re not limited to just this one. It makes a DIY project like these much easier to do… unless of course you’re a gifted artist and don’t need the help of a decal!
And this 5×7 wall plaque is another DIY idea…
Crafted by an artist, this piece is for sale, but for the DIYer, decoupage comes to mind!
And so does another famous Audrey line…
I think so too!
As you can see I got a little distracted in my search for DIY ideas! But I love what I stumbled upon in the process I’m not sure where this weekend will take me, or if I can come up with something fun and creative for the Summer Pinterest Challenge… What do you think? Is there something you might do?
