From the Sea to be Seen

Today I just wanted to share something pretty cool…
These earrings are made from the inside layers of a shell.
Kaleigh presented them to me this morning as a complete surprise. She bought them at a local fair and thinks the vendor said they were made from an oyster shell… she couldn’t remember for sure if it was an oyster shell, but definitely from a shell!
They remind me of the inside of an abalone shell, except for the bumpy parts, so I’m thinking she’s right and we’ll go with oyster shell 😉
Aren’t creations from molluscs of the sea beautiful? Especially when they come as a complete surprise!
Thank you so much Kaleigh XOXO

Great photo by the way. What kind of a camera are you using?
Thanks Pauline!
It’s a Canon Rebel XSi. I’ve had it for just over a year, and I really like it now that I’m getting used to using it…
