Ursula is a multi-talented artist with a background in fabric arts and abstract painting. But the ancient tradition of making straw ornaments is an art form near and dear to her heart. I am particularly fond of the colorful straw ornaments and the smash of red on the Christmas card. My sister in law is German and introduced me to the straw ornaments ~ very delicate and they resonate the straw in the manger. Very lovely indeed! and what a talent to create!
I purchased several of Ursula’s cards and received one of her wonderful straw ornaments…. would encourage all to do the same ..they are even better in person ! Can’t wait to send these treasures on to friends and family….. Thanks for sharing this Sheila
