Here is my first attempt at using Olioboard. Have you heard of it? If not, Olioboard is a free web application for creating digital mood boards, or story boards. It’s a great place to experiment and come up with ideas for your space, and what’s really neat is you can click on the items to shop for them. Isn’t this brilliant? You can also share your Olioboard creations on Twitter and Facebook, copy them to your Blog, or email them to others.
Beachy Retreat: A Quiet Place to Curl Up…
This is supposed to be a reading area with a bit of a beachy feel to it. Remember… I said this was my ‘first’ attempt! I still have a ton to learn, and can see already that I’ll have to be disciplined with my time because it’s so much fun. Way too easy to lose track of time when in the creative mindset, and with so many options to play with!!!
Seriously though, this is a fantastic tool to work with if you’re wanting to ‘see’ what you’re visualizing… And even if using Olioboard isn’t for you, it’s worth going to their site just to see all the amazing creations others have shared.
I look forward to creating a few more to share too!

I have been using olioboards lately to help “cast a vision” for clients. It’s pretty addictive – sometimes I spend waaayy too much time on it!
