‘Propping’ for Victoria Vintage Expo: A RetroTable Makeover

If you’ve been following along then you will remember all the DIYing that went into ‘propping’ for Audrey Would!’s booth at last year’s Victoria Vintage Expo. If you missed all the frenzy, there was…

(1) A pine bookcase that got Hollywood Glammed!

Pine Cabinet B&A

(2) A piano bench that jumped on the glam safari, too!

(3) And a little side table that was given a redo.

This year Audrey will be back, top of the stairs again in Booth #38, and will have one more DIY prop to introduce.

I paid $7.00 for this little table and all its well-loved retro beauty…

Then subjected it to the bliss of semi-gloss black paint!

You will find this refreshed piece at the Vintage Fair among Audrey’s booth mix. This year we have a few layout tweaks along with all the sparkle and glam of last year’s look. To see where this mod table fits why not drop by?

Have you marked the dates? September 26 and 27 at the Crystal Gardens in Victoria – see you there!

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. You know, I picked that little table up quite awhile ago and only just got to the makeover now. The fair is right around the corner so it was definitely the ‘do or die’ inspiration I needed to get it done! Good luck with your table treasure re-do, too!

    1. Awe, thank you so much Cynthia! I will definitely post photos – I think this is going to be a really great show. There are 80 vendors and all the vendor spots have sold out! I’m excited to be one of them.

  1. I saw your booth, in real life! That was the day I went into Victoria to try to find you and you weren’t there yet (the event wan’t open yet, I managed to get in though!). It looked great too!!

    1. I was so disappointed I missed you last year – my booth got to meet you before I did! I load in this year at 10:45 and once everything is delivered to my booth, it’ll probably take me 1-1/2 to 2 hours to unpack and get set up. I am hoping to be all set up by 1:30 and then I’ll be gone until just before the fair opens. I don’t want to miss you this year if you pop down!
