Recycled Tires in Décor

When you see a landfill that looks like this…
Would you believe it can be turned into this?
Or featured in décor like this…
In fact, recycled tires can be turned into many things…
Including outdoor furniture like this. Why worry about the rain when you don’t have to?
How about a gift bag for wine?
Or a basket for kitchen utensils?
With baskets you can multi-purpose them for so much more!
But the best part is the repurposing of old tires into something functional and new.
We have a larger basket similar to the first one shown above, and use it to put our empty bottles for recycling in. It’s perfect because it won’t get damaged if it gets wet. The handles are strong and make it easy to carry a full bin out to the garage. And… it’s just nicer than a plastic tote! I wish we had a few more because they’re great for so many things.
Have you ever used a basket made from recycled tires? What did you use yours for?
It’s about coming home… If you want a remarkable space that tells your story, contact me to see how we can help!

Amazing , I only hope these things don’t smell like old tires
In sustainable architecture, old tires also make great insulating walls:

Or for areas where you need thinner walls and to let light through, you can use glass bottles for a very pretty effect:
