Adding a little touch to your space doesn’t have to be costly or time consuming…
Have you got a second?

Hydrangeas picked fresh from my Dad’s garden…

Displayed in a vinaigrette bottle thrifted for $1.00.
Simple, affordable style.
Created in minutes, enjoyed for days!
How about you? What’s your favorite way to add a dash of style to your home?
Sometimes it’s the smallest things that bring the greatest pleasure. I walked around my Dad’s yard with him while he cut some of his flowers for me. We wandered and chatted, and like always, bantered a bit, too. π When I got home, putting the flowers into vases was a nice extension of the time we spent together. And now as I enjoy them, these moments are imprinted with this little added touch of simple, affordable style!
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!

I have a huge hydrangea bush and I LOVE cutting the flowers and having them in vases around the house. Flowers sure add that extra layer to a space, don’t they?
I love the colour that hydrangeas add to a space! Free flowers are the best!! π
end of summer, better enjoy the flowers as long as we can, niece vase, niece bunch
That would make me very happy..I love hydrangeas.
Love the simpleness Sheila! How easy is that, and look how beautiful. I always say that the beauty of the room is in the little details.
It’s the best thing to perk up a room!!!!! In the winter I wish that there was flier delivery that didn’t cost too much.
I meant flower
Blue hydrangeas are my very favourite flower π Unfortunately, between my three blue hydrangea plants, they only grew two flower heads this summer. I hope they all come back strong next year!
Love how you’ve displayed yours in the vinaigrette bottle – it makes a great vase π And your photos are beautiful, especially the second one π
I like to display flowers too, for a pop of colour and to add a natural element to a room π
Beautiful! I need to scope out the nearest yard with a hydrangea bush and make friends with the owners!
So pretty. Hydrangeas don’t do well here, but I love picking them up as a treat now and then.
Fresh cut flowers are one of my favorite things too – and they smell so nice.
