Moving shakes a lot of things loose, and as you shift from one space to the next, you’re always faced with new challenges while exhaling to be leaving the old ones behind. We’re still in the moving phase, so things are being placed in ‘zones’, but nothing has found a permanent home just yet. Heck, we’re not even permanent yet!
So when I saw this cool and funky idea for storing books, it caught my eye, if only for an entertaining moment! And that’s probably because I just moved a bunch of books to the new house today and they’re still piled on the floor waiting to be given a home.
I’m not sure how much of a space saver this option would be. In fact, I’m thinking probably not a space saver at all. But isn’t this a neat idea? Unique in a Steam Punk chic kind of way.

Books, I love them and read pretty often, although I’m being a bit lazy lately. I usually don’t accumulate too many. I donate them, but the ones I really want to keep I usually store them on a built-in or shelves.

Ohhh gawd Sheila… practically anything “pretty” and/or fun and/or booklike is hiding in our attic right now because we’ve been renovating… for close to 3 years!!! I can’t wait ’til the day when I can bring my treasures down

I hear you! I’m emptying out my storage unit and that’s where I’ve stored most of my books. It’s like they’re new all over again!
Hi there, i love the idea though i think it will eat much space! Hmm as for your question where do i display my books? Since where still in the painting process, the cabinet up the ceiling is still not done, so for now the books that i still keep and loved are on my cabinet while we donated the one’s we no longer use. Its best to donate, millions of kids want to read books but they cant afford to buy so we can help them by sharing ours! Ciao!
