Typography on the Dock

The Maritime Centre in Cowichan Bay…

LOVE those red doors!

Especially up close and personal.

And if you look down you’ll see text used as a design element.

All along the dock…

Names carved into the planks…

Row after row after row…

Almost like a list on lined paper.

I think this clean sans serif font is very effective, and the use of text in this way was one of my favorite things…
