Wood Glammed Up!

Wood Glammed Up!

As a lover of reclaimed wood pieces, live edge pieces, and just about anything that pays tribute to the wood itself, I was surprised to be completely smitten with these glammed up blocks! I have to tell you, it was instant attraction, love at first sight! And what I really liked is I could totally envision a DIY project around the corner…

I think these wood pieces are awesome.

I love the way the grain is enhanced with the metallic treatment.

Every crack, split, and ring comes to life with the shiny surface.

What a great way to glam up a block of wood. Can you see the potential for a DIY project here?

In contrast, I don’t care for the metallic surface on the live edge table. It feels like it’s trying too hard, and I think something gets lost when the raw edge is covered up…

What do you think? Would you silver these pieces, would you leave them in their natural state, or would you apply a different colour/finish?

It’s about coming home… If you want a remarkable space that tells your story, contact me to see how we can help!
